This is the second Chairman’s Citation for Ms. Allen-Bard, who was also recognized for her outstanding contributions by LLS in 2009.
The Chairman’s Citation recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of individuals who have demonstrated significant dedication and commitment to their chapter and are deserving of national recognition. The award is also given to medical institutions, organizations, social workers or caregivers who have given outstanding support, counsel or guidance to blood cancer patients and their families.
Nominations for the Chairman’s Citation may be made throughout the year at the community level and for presentation by chapters.
